La popularidad de La Floripondio tenĆa que dar sus frutos en su tierra. Cerca de Villa Alemana, en QuilpuĆ© (V regiĆ³n), naciĆ³ el grupo ska Sonora de Llegar el aƱo 2000. Un grupo de demos conformĆ³ su primera publicaciĆ³n, DĆ©mole (2001), y una cantidad de tocatas por ValparaĆso y alrededores fueron consolidando el sonido de la banda, hasta la publicaciĆ³n de Manifiesta el 2005, mismo aƱo en el que ganaron el concurso de bandas nacionales āEscuelas de Rockā. Pero el despegue vendrĆa mĆ”s tarde cuando firmaron con Sello Azul y participaron en el festival internacional Vive Latino realizado en Santiago el 2007. Su disco homĆ³nimo salido ese aƱo fue producido por Macha (Aldo Asenjo de La Floripondio, Chico Trujillo) en BerlĆn.
Incluidos en una escena fiestera dominada por la cumbia, Sonora de Llegar grabĆ³ Fiesta Primate, en el cual cambian de estilo en cada canciĆ³n, pasando por el ska, la cumbia, el rock y el surf, donde tambiĆ©n hay espacio para el homenaje, pues incluyeron āVisiĆ³n de OtoƱoā, original de los porteƱos Blue Splendor. Con su Ćŗltimo disco SesiĆ³n Jamaikismo (2012), tomaron canciones clĆ”sicas del ska y las re versionaron en espaƱol.

Near Villa Alemana, in the town of QuilpuĆ© (V region), a new ska band was formed in 2000 called Sonora de Llegar. Making a group of demos, which they called Demole, was their first release the following year. They subsequently gigged a lot in ValparaĆso and the surrounding area, and their sound became solid. In 2005 they composed the song Manifiesta that won Escuelas the Rock, a Chilean rock band contest.
They were then signed to the record label Sello Azul and were invited to Vive Latino, an international festival that took place in Santiago, in 2007. Their debut album Sonora de Llegar was produced by Macha (Aldo Asenjo from La Floripondio and Chico Trujillo) in Berlin.
Sonora de Llegar was part of a party scene dominated by cumbia rhythm, so their next CD was a mix of styles. On Fiesta Primate they pass from ska to cumbia; from rock to surf, and thereās even a tribute track included with āVisiĆ³n de OtoƱoā, a song from the most popular band from ValparaĆso during the sixties, Los Blue Splendor.
In their last record, SesiĆ³n jamaikismo (2012), Sonora de Llegar took classic ska songs and did versions of them in Spanish.
